About SMT install

Hi,

I just installed the latest RFSA, and at the end of the installation, a diagram box popped out saying" proceed to install the SMT(spectrum measurement toolkit)", then it all ends.

So where is the SMT? Is it a seperate CD or I still need to buy it? I thought SMT is within RFSA package.

Hello Sunny,

Spectral Measurements Toolkit is often bundled with the PXI-566x Vector Signal Analyzers which includes the hardware, the RFSA driver, and the SMT toolkit. The toolkit itself is not tied to the RFSA driver and is a separate software package.

Thank you for the remind, now I am able to find the SMT and another Disk with Advanced DSP toolkit. But after intallation, I can't locate the SMT and Advanced DSP in the Add-on.

I used LV 8.0 before and am using LV 8.5.1 without uninstalling LV 8.0, and I do see the SMT appears in the add-on in LV8.0.

So, how to solve this problem? Do I have to uninstall anything?
