Not able to get the example vi run.

Hi all,

I move my 5640R card to another pc and install the Signal Processing and Communication Disc of Labview.  I was able to run all the example vi as well as some vi I write myself on my previous computer with almost all the Labview component installed. But now those example vi do not run anymore.
The run button on the host vi appear to be "bad". The error message is as follows:

"
An internal software error has occurred. Contact National Instruments technical support at ni.com/support. Error details:
Error 1075 occurred at Invoke Node in FPGA_IntfScriptOpen.vi:1->nirviScriptOpenPlugin.vi:2->nirviScriptOpen.vi:1->nirviOpenFPGA.xnode:nirviOpenFPGA_GenerateCode.vi->nirviOpenFPGA.xnode:nirviOpenFPGA_GenerateCode.vi.ProxyCaller

Possible reason(s):

LabVIEW:  Cannot create a constant for the specified terminal.

Method Name: Create Constant
"

I tried to create another Open FPGA reference but failed. Does someone know what's is the problem? Many thanks!

David.

Oh, I am using Labview 8.2. I also have copied those files for NI5640R to the required directory.

Hi

Did you do the last step?:
2. Run  ...\LabVIEW 8.2\Targets\NI\FPGA\bin\lvfpga_make_resource_cache.exe

On this page?:

Hi Jerry,

Yes. I did the last step. I double clicked the file and some window appeared and disappeared. Is that what is expected?

Hi Jerry,

I reinstalled my NI5640r and it works now. I did not use the administrator account when last time ran that .exe file and I guess this is the reason.
   Anyway, thanks!

David
