Looking at the Project Explorer Window on the first "page" of this thread, can you use Windows Explorer to browse to the directory ni5640r  Template you copied and renamed, and verify that the VIs are actually in the directory?

You are looking for:
ni5640R Template (HOST).vi
ni5640R Template (FPGA).vi
ni5640R Template.lvlib

Actually, can you verify that both the original and copied ni5640r Template directories look like this?

Hi Valli

After thinking this over a bit.  I think you should un-install the ni5640r software as well as the NI-RIO driver.

Check to ensure that the LabVIEW/examples/FPGA/ni5640r directory is removed.

Then go and reinstall the NI-RIO driver (2.1 latest I believe) and then re-install the ni5640r software.

Please check to make sure the example directory has the same files as the image I posted.

Then go back to the Getting Starting Guide.
