on the fly change of IF center frequency

I'm working on the project which needs to change IF center frequency on the fly (slowly, let's say once a minute). Is it possible to do it from HOST vi and  call "DAC Configure for Quadrature Mode" each time when it needed?

Yes, in order to change the transmit IF center frequency during program execution, you can call "ni5640R DAC Configure for Quadrature Mode.vi". This of course is for use in FPGA mode. You can see the example ni5640R Frequency Translation (HOST).vi for an example of this.
