I guess that depends on what you want to digitize, if the analog signal you have to digitize is a baseband waveform, such as a sine wave, the module isn’t suited to this input. If you have an analog signal modulates onto a carrier signal, you can acquire this signal with the ADCs, and down convert to an IQ waveform, which can be regenerated.
The NI PCI-5640R software comes with examples that can help you get started. Two that I can think of are the ni5640R Input and Output example and the ni5640R Frequency Translation example. These are installed in the …\LabVIEW\examples\FPGA\NI-5640R\ directory.
