DF Profi II / Acknowledge of DPV1- Diagnosis-Alarm

Hello,

I receive in my Profibus Network some DPV1-Diagnosis-Alarm.

The Comsoft Support says that is it not Acknowledged automatically by the master (DF Profi II). So I need to send a DPV1_Alarm_Ack.

I think I have to send this via the DPV1-Service.vi

When I try to establish the Initiate_Req link to the slave I allways get this Error Message:

I don't know what that means and how to Communicate at all with the DPV1-Protocoll.

Hello,

I am not so sure if this is the right forum. Are you using a Driver API or a Toolkit from National Instruments?

Time out error suggest that you do not get a response from whatever is on the other side. Perhaps they know more about the fact that the device is not responding.

Also, Comsoft might be the right place to ask,
