Good information! If I run into this problem again I will use this solution. Typically these days if we need to use E/IP with LabVIEW we'll throw in a cheap PLC like the AutomationDirect P1-540 to act as a middleman for communications. This also allows us to use the implicit communication VI's which makes things a little cleaner on the LabVIEW side.
