I'm new to Profibus so I'm not sure what I need to connect a Profibus PA Differential Pressure meter (http://www.yokogawa.com/fld/PRESSURE/EJA/fld-eja110a-01en.htm) or possibly meters to my existing PC104 embedded computer.
My embedded machine has a RS232, RS485, 4 USB, and an ethernet connection and its' running Windows XPe with Labview 2011. From the searches I've done I noticed that I may need an interface board such as DF PROFI II PCI/PCIe/CPCI/PC104+ http://www.comsoft.de/html/icpe/products/profibus/interfaces/dfprofi2.htm and maybe some kind of coupler to switch from PA/DP. If all that sounds correct, is the DF PROFI II PCI/PCIe/CPCI/PC104+ a good choice and what would be a good coupler to use? Could I somehow communicate with the Differential Pressure meter using the RS485 and skip the interface card altogether? Thanks

Unfortunately, I can't answer this question for you. I recommend contacting the manufactuer and asking them what they recommend to connect to your meter. You could also contact comsoft and ask them. The board you linked looks like it has many more features than just an RS485 connection.
