Using PC as etherCAT master to control servo motors

Hi! 

I am looking for a way to control a servo motor through labview on etherCAT using my pc as master instead of cRIO, pxi etc.

Is there a way to do that?

Two options:

1. EtherCAT Library for LabVIEW by Ackermann Automation (not free)
2. Convert a desktop to Pharlap Real-Time OS and use NI-IndComm for EtherCAT. Note that Pharlap is no longer supported as of LabVIEW 2022. See Configure NI Ethernet Interface Device as an EtherCAT Master
