5112 driver location

Having a heck of a time with Win7 64 bit locating the NI 5112 digital scope driver.

Did back rev to 3.8.1 because the card is supported in that version. But I can not locate the driver anyplace.

Been downloading various 1GB plus files trying to get the driver.

Would appreciate guidance.

Thanks

Hello Paul2s,

As the PXI-5112 is a legacy device (which has been EOL since March '09), it is only supported on 32-bit operating systems. This is indicated in the NI-SCOPE readme, within the Supported Hardware section:

http://download.ni.com/support/softlib/high_speed_digitizers/niscope/windows/3.8.7/NISCOPE387readme....

This is true for older versions of the SCOPE driver as well. I'm very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Thanks for the answer though much later I did understand that the charts were the key.

Not the text that says what hardware is supported. So its all on a 32 bit winXP now and doing fine as they say.

Thanks again for your response.

Hi Paul2s, I'm sorry if the Scope documentation was unclear in any way. Glad to hear you're up and running properly now!

Think the charts just fine. Its just that the text is what you read first.

Simply change the text to read something like reference the chart for specific OS support.

May have said something like that.

Anyhow. Now I know how to read your specs.

Regards

Paul.

I will pass the suggestion along to the High Speed Digitizers team - thanks for the feedback.
