AT-GPIB not communicating with 488.2 software, ibtest runs indefinitely on OS/2

Hi,

I've just installed the NI-488.2M v.2.2 drivers  for a working AT-GPIB board onto a computer running OS/2 Warp v.4.  I know the driver is successfully installed since I can get the message saying so on startup, however when I run ibtest.exe to verify installation it just hangs. That is, the program is still active but makes no progress (I left it running overnight), instead of giving me an error code.

Not sure if it should matter, but the board was in place before installation of the driver, and of the operating system.  If there are any details missing please ask.  Any help is appreciated.  I know the board itself should be working since it was working a month ago when hooked up to an older computer that "died".

Thanks,

Nik

Update: got ibtest to work by changing the interrupt level (default was 11, changed to 7).  I think my problem is on the application software end.
