After installing of PCI-8430/2 PC COM ports disappeared from MAX (only PCI-8430/2 ports are shown). From MyComputer/Hardware/DeviceManager all COM ports are visible.

After installing of PCI-8430/2 all previous PC COM ports disappeared from MAX (only PCI-8430/2 ports are shown) - see attached screenshot

From MyComputer/Hardware/DeviceManager there is not any problem - all COM ports are visible.

Seems like a driver/resources problem.
Try to install the board in another PCI slot and reinstall NI VISA.
