Agilent 34925A with 34980A, Scanning Channels Slowly

Hi,

I am using the Agilent 34925A MUX module within the 34980A mainframe to scan for DC Voltages.  The 34925A is rated to scan 1000 channels per second.  However, when I try to scan channels 1-24 on the card at the same time, it scans at a much slower rate (around 1 scan per channel per second).  I downloaded the agilent driver and looked off of their examples as much as I could, but I am now stuck. 

The goal is to scan 24 pressure lines at once and to be able to plot the results over time of all 24 lines.  The switch just opens or closes the air source to all of the pressure lines.

it may be helpful to read the manual for the 34980A mainframe to understand better how the unit works.  It can only measure one voltage at a time, there are several settings that can be tailored to speed up the measurements.  the settle time for the relays, how many samples per channel, delay before measureing, and manually setting the range for each channel (do not use autorange).

I have to mention that if you are looking to measure 24 channels at the same time the data logger cannot do that.
