Hi,
I'm a student and do my thesis about CAN-signals on trucks. It's my job to read out a motor of a truck, and then control it with a small LabView application, so I can accelerate.
Now I know that there's in NI-software a small program called MAX (Measurement and Automation Explorer) where you can read out the CAN-bus and its data on it.
My first test was to let the motor running, and then go reading out. But that doesn't work.
When I start the MAX program, the small LED of CAN (visible on the USB 8473 module) turns on, but after a second, it's turns off again. With the result I don't read any data out of the CAN bus.
Does anybody know what's my problem is?
