Can a GPIB-SCSI-A box be connected to a Mac running OS X?

I am using a GPIB-SCSI-A to communicate between a Sciex API150 mass spectrometer and a PowerMac G4. I would like to upgrade the Mac to Mac OSX, but am having trouble with driver compatibility (I think). Is there an OSX compatible driver being developed?

No, unfortunately no driver has been developed for the GPIB-SCSI-A to run on Mac OSX. However, there is a OSX driver for the GPIB-ENET/100. This is an ethernet to GPIB controller. If you have an ethernet connection on your computer, this may be an effective way to communicate with your mass spectrometer. Here is a link to a page with more information about the GPIB-ENET/100: http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/nioc.vp?cid=4409〈=US
