Can i interface SR510 through 32-bit PCI/IEEE488.2 card using Labview software?

We have a PCI/IEEE488.2 card from IOtech instrumentation.Now i would like to interface lock-in amplifier(SR510) through this card using LabView 7.1 software, is it possible?

I don't see a pci card listed on IOTechs's web site but they do have a LabVIEW support page. The best thing for you to do is to contact IOTech. They probably have some sort of driver that you can use with LabVIEW but you may have to make some modifications to any instrument driver that you download.

My GPIB,IEEE488(frm IOtech) card are work properly tested by IOtech IEEE488 Labview test file.I have got no error result.Now, for my practise,from beginning i want to interface KEITHLEY 236 source measurement unit. i have downloaded all keithley236 Labview drivers in instr.lib folder. When i run this files, this does not responce. I can't understant what is wrong.Please tell me.

What exactly happens? If you are getting an error, what is the error code? Does the driver use VISA? If so, is there an IOtech VISA driver that you installed? If you did install a VISA driver from IOtech, did you enable tulip support in MAX? What does this 'LabVIEW test file do'? Can you post it?

I mean this are not responding, I don’t use VISA driver. I have attached IOtech IEEE488 Labview test file and Keithley236 configuration LabView file.

I don't have the instrument so I can't run the VIs but I did notice that the write mode is different between the two. If you can communicate to the 236 with the IOtech example, try changing the write mode in the Keithley Send Message. Also, you did not post the  error checking function in the IOtech VI so I have no idea what it is doing. Besides getting no error, you need to see something in the 'characters read' indicator.

 i'm trying to interface through RS232 of my locking amplifier(SR510) using LV7.1.

From beginning I am using basic  serial write and read file and I have done it to control this instrument. But when I want to get serial data for a certain period, there is a problem. I have seen the read string display only one value. How can I get tabular form, read string and delay time?

Hi,

I have downloaded the driver of SR510.But i can't oparete it, mean when i configure the front panel file than it run and not get any responce from my Instruments. Using Basic Write and read file it is work properly but there is a problem to get series of data during continuous run with a delay time.I'm wating for you.
