Collecting data from multiple channels using a Voltech PM6000

I have a Voltech PM6000 configured to collect data ( 1 channel dc and 2 channels 3 phase PWM) - works fine.  I can also access the PM6000 from LabVIEW using Ethernet - works OK - slow with only a 700ms cycle time for data transfer.

My issue and question is:  How can I collect data in LabVIEW from the PM6000 on MULTIPLE channels (my 3 in this case) at the same time.  I have tried all combinations of the two Voltech LabVIEW examples and can only manage to get one channel (the last configured) at a time.

Has anyone had any success in acquiring multiple channels from a PM6000?

Thanks in advance,

David

Hi Dave,

See if something about reading multiple channels in the manual of the device. If you can't find it in the device drivers it may not be possible.

hello

This subject is perhaps a bit cold but I've got the same problem with the Voltech PM6000 at this time.

I've modified the given "driver" to have faster reading of background configured data (lowering wait time after each write to 20ms instead of 250ms) but when I need to change the channel, I've to send many "sel:" commands and each time and it take a lot of time.

The software PMstudio (Voltech) which is a Labview build, doesn't seem yo suffer of this problem.

Did you found a solution, I'm really interested.

Regards
