I'm not quite sure which adapter you should use, but looking at your previous post... are you sending [ ID? ] or [ *IDN? ]. I believe the proper command to ask for Identification information is *IDN?. Also, you may need to send termination characters to get the device to communicate. Generally this is '\r' or '\n' or "\r\n". Hope this helps!
