Controlling the Stellaris Stepper Motor Control Board with LabVIEW

Hi

I am working on controlling a stepper motor in LV, and I have purchased the Stellaris stepper motor control board (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spmu045/spmu045.pdf) from Texas Instruments.  It communicates with the PC by USB, but I am trying to use LV to control it.  I am new to LV, but I have done the tutorials and have read that I may need the LV embedded module?  Or possibly some driver software (http://focus.ti.com/mcu/docs/mcuorphantoolsw.tsp?sectionId=632&orphantabId=8)?  Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi bmccask,

Do you know exactly how you are going to communicate with it? Which videos have you looked watched? I would check out the embedded module if you think you need it, and even download the evaluation version to try it if you think it is promising.
