Controlling thermotron 8200 using lab view 2010

NI I/O trace attached.  No errors.  It's the code in the library that is rejecting the model number.

Now I understand that you are using the example program which does indeed look for 8800 response to iden? command.

You could change the matching string to "8200 Chamber Controller" instead of "8800 Chamber Controller"

That is the only vi that is controller dependent...

The all the other vis in the driver work with both the 8200 and the 8800 since they use the same computer io command set.
