Controllinng Agilent E364xA via RS232

Hello !

I am currently working with the DC Power supply E3642A and I have a problem with the communication: The device would't answer to orders like "MEASURE:CURRENT?" or "*IDN?"...etc
It reacts properly when I ask it to set 9V or 2Amp... but doesn't reply with a request question. I have no feedback. And the device doesn't display any errors when commands are sent
After I used drivers in the NI website but like previously, just react for orders without answer. I checked the cable, and it is ok.

If someone can give me an answer or advises.

It is ok !
I found the solution, it was a problem of syntax: it is necessary to had a "\n" or a carriage return at each end of blocks sended to the Agilent device 😉
