Devices and interfaces- Indentification unkown?

Hello All,

I have a question regarding the "Identification" value shown under the Devices and Interfaces section in MAX.  I'm using MAX version 4.7.4f0.  Here is the exact location of my question: MAX,Devices and Interfaces,Instrument x,Attributes,Indentification.

I have multiple devices installed, all devices except my Krohn-Hite 526 have the device info in the "Identification" section,

example: Agilent, 3240A .........

The Krohn-Hite has *IDN? yBy (?????)

I am not sure if it could be an installation issue?

I needed to "Scan for Instruments' inside of MAX.  Interesting was that I still had full control over the unit in LV and TS??

Just a side note for others that may come across an issue like this.  Not all devices support the standard ID query, especially older instruments that are not compliant with 488.2.  Take a look in the device manual and see what the proper command is for device identification.
