Difference between NAT9914APD/NAT9914BPD

What is the difference between NAT9914APD and NAT9914BPD?

I ask because we have received and fitted the NAT9914APD version although we wanted the B version. I cannot find any datasht. for the A product, therefore I cannot safely release the products on a concession note.

Best regards

Hi Dennis,

The NAT9914BPD is a drop-in replacement for the NAT9914APD, and adheres  to all of the same specifications.

You mentioned that you had intended to use the B revision, but received A.  Did you receive the NAT9914APD recently from National Instruments, or was this stock which was acquired from another source?

Thanks,

Jason S.

Hi Jason

 Thanks for the quick reply.

For some (unknown) reason our purchaser have ordered the A part although our manufacturing system calls up the B part. Until now we have received the B part, but on the last delivery the part was A, unfortunately this was only discovered after the parts had been soldered in.

Is it possible to dig up a datasheet for the A part?

Best regards
Dennis

The datasheet for the two versions is the same. The only difference between A and B was a fab change.
