EABO error with certain number of readings

I am receiving the EABO error when trying to aquire multiple readings from a 3458a DMM. I have set the end command to "end on", and use the "NRDGS #,auto". When the NRDGS is anything less than 50, the program runs fine, however, when it is greater than 50, the EABO error pops up. I have tried changing ibtmo to 0 (no timeout period) and 17 (1000 s) but neither works. Any suggestions?

There are probably some other general programming practices we can advise you on if you were to post your code.  From what you have told us so far nothing seems to be wrong it simply sounds like for some reason we are not sampling fast enough.
