EOI Pulse-Width

I designed a GPIB interface using a TNT4882 chip for an RF power amplifier. The EOI pulse on transmission is approximately 3.4 us wide. I have a customer that thinks he is having difficulty getting stable communications because the EOI pulse is too narrow. Is there a way to lengthen this pulse?

Hi Steve,
The EOI pulse length is unfortunately not configurable.  If you would like some help resolving your customers issue feel free to post some information about his issue and the community is here to help.  🙂

Hi John,

Not being able to change the EOI width is not surprising. I am sending my customer a version of the code that allows the option to include a CR at the end of each message. Hopefully that will get him going.
