Hello , ni engineers.

I am working on MODBUS using RS-485.

I Downloaded the Library from https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/tools-network/download.modbus-master.html

After Installing the library , I tryed the MB Serial Example Master.vi .................but when I run it this error message appeares.

Error -1073807202 occurred at Property Node (arg 1) in MB Serial Init.vi->MB Serial Example Master.vi

But when I run MB Serial Example Salve.vi   .................... It works fine.

I wondered what is the problem.

Hi Abdo,

What version of LabVIEW and NI-VISA are installed on your machine? Upgrading the VISA driver might solve your issue - refer to this link to install the latest compatible version: https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/compatibility/16/ni-visa-and-labview-version-compatibili...

You can also download a more recent, updated MODBUS library from https://forums.ni.com/t5/Reference-Design-Content/LabVIEW-Modbus-API/ta-p/3524019 and see if you encounter the same errors
