Error 1073807346 VISA open in

Hi,

I have a CEC 488 GPIB card in my computer.  MAX can see the device, HP34401A.  But when I was trying to run the simple programm from the Labview manual.  Under the Visa resource name, instead of GPIB address only "refresh" appears.  When I press the run, the following error appears " VISA code 1073807346.  VISA open in..."   In VISA spy,

VISA close ()

Viget attribute (0x02DC2828, 0x3FFF018F, VI_FALSE)  0x3FFF0082

ViFinalRsrc (0x02DC2823, "?*", 0x00000000, 0, ")   0xBFFF003A

While I was trying to solve this problem, I found out another problem in MAX.  When I start VISAIC.exe, the following error code appears 0xBFFF003A, VI_ERROR_INV_SETUP.

Please somebody help me to solve this problem.

Hold on. Now I'm confused. At first I thought you were the same person who posted the original post, since you were talking about the same error message. Sometimes people forget their logins and create new ones to continue the discussion. I should have read the message more carefully, as it looks like you're talking about something else. In that case, you may want to read this old thread regarding CEC cards.
