Error 42 Occured at Teck Read for Zaber control

I had a T-LA seriel Zaber (http://www.zaber.com/products/product_group.php?group=T-LA) and I used to use Labview to control it under Windows XP. Recently we bought a new computer since we need faster computer to achieve high speed imaging acquisition. But the system is vista now. The problem we met is that the Zaber control system did not work anymore. The error is"Error 42 Occured at Teck Read". Any suggestions to solve this problem? Thanks.

Hey Jason,

What version of LabVIEW are you running this application in? In taking a look at the software section in the ZaberWiki (Zaber's support site, found here :  http://www.zaber.com/wiki/Software), I saw that the latest LabVIEW library they provide is for LabVIEW version 8.0. If you take a look at this DevZone article : http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/A79C1377D512156C86256F320053186B you'll see that the earliest version of LabVIEW supported in Windows Vista is version 8.2.1. 

An application built in LabVIEW 8.0 can be used in higher versions, so the Zaber library is probably not the issue here. Check which version of LabVIEW you're using, and see if that version is supported in Vista by looking at that DevZone document.
