GPIB-DDL not found. After removing new error Virtual Device Driver format is invaild

Hi,

I was installing labVIEW 7.0 and NI DAQ 7.1 on my new XP Computer. I ended up with the error message on startup as documented here: (Document ID: 2DJFRS00)

So I deleted the value and the error message, and instead got this one:
16 bit MS-DOS Subsytem
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe
SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Virtual Device Drivers. Virtual Device Driver format in the registery is invaild. Choose 'Close" to terminate the application.

So I have now uninstalled all NI software, and it still occurs.

I do not have any GPIB hardware.

I do not follow the instructions how to disable the drivers at startup.

Alternatively when I go about reinstalling LabVIEW and NI DAQ, what should I make sure I install to get rid of this error?
