GPIB Keithley 2000 Peak-to-Peak

Hello,

I am quite inexperienced to using Labview and GPIB interfacing but I have managed to link up to the Keithley 2000 and monitor Voltage RMS values.  My question is if there is a way that I can also record the peak-to-peak direct from the Keithley?  Anyone know?

Thanks,
Brian

I don't see anything in the driver except for AC Volts. It's possible I suppose that a measurement mode was not included in the driver. You should look in the manual to see it one exists. Your other option is to try the Read Multiple Measurements example. This will return an array of values and you can use the LabVIEW Array Min Max function. I don't know how fast the instrument will acquire what the frequency of your signal is.

Yeah, I was hoping to stay away from doing the calculation myself.

I have also been trying to mess around with the sampling period of the Keithley - it's quite slow unfortunately.  It is advertised at 2000 readings/second but when hooked up in Labview I can manage perhaps 10 per second with the digits turned down to 4.5.

Thanks for the help anyway.
