I have installed LabWindows/CVI 8.0 on a computer, including the GPIB software. Upon plugging in the GPIB-USB-HS interface, Device Manager claims there is no driver for the interface. I choose the 'reinstall driver' option and select the GPIB-USB-HS driver from a list of drivers. After reinstalling, Device Manager says that the device is working properly. However, I am unable to communicate with instruments. The GPIB troubleshooter fails on the 'sequentially verifying GPIB' test (#3). The detailed help for the error message directs me to 'resource conflicts', which should not be an issue with a USB device. What's going on?
