Tendo,

This error most likely indicates you are trying to install a more recent driver version than your hardware supports.  Check out the list of GPIB Driver Verisons and post back with the driver version you were using if you have any further questions.  Good luck!

I have the NI 488.2 2.24 (NI488222.exe) as stated on the list of "GPIB Driver Versions".

I attached pictures of "GPIB-USB interface" and "error code".

Tendo,

Thanks for the picture you provided, I believe I've discovered the cause of your install troubles.  The GPIB Driver Versions KB lists your USB-GPIB device as only supported under Windows ME/98/95 with 488.2 version 1.7.  Not only is v 1.7 not available for download (other than by special request), your USB-GPIB device will not work on Windows XP.  You'll have to either downgrade your operating system or purchase a newer USB-GPIB device.  Please contact NI directly if you need any help with this process at 1-866-275-6964.

Sincerely,

Chris G in AE
