GPIB bus error durring transfer

Hi

Im working with an Agilent 3470A DAQ unit and a PCI-GPIB 488.2 board, the software is Data Logger 3 by Agilent.  I just recently switched out my DAQ unit and was having no errors before but now when i try to download my channel configuration i get an error "bus error durring transfer".  I dont have the option to go back to the old DAQ unit, I checked to make sure the cable was good.  Can i get some assistance with this issue, i am very new to these systems.

Hi dlboyea,

Are you using any National Instruments software?  Was the PCI-GPIB board made by National Instruments?  

Are you getting the error in the Agilent Data Logger 3 software?  If this is the case, then you may need to contact Agilent about the issue.  If the system stopped working when you switched out your Agilent device and nothing else has changed, the problem likely lies in either the new hardware or some configuration that must be done in their software to communicate with the device.  They will better understand the intricacies of their hardware and software.
