I have had to install Windows 2000 as a virtual window within Windows XP in order to accomodate software from Beckman-Coulter for chemical analysis.
I can't seem to configure my PCI-GPIB board with NI-488.2 from the Virtual Window. I know the board and driver work perfectly on the old computer that was running Win-2000 but has since been corrupted by a virus.
Does anyone know if I can configure my card from within a Virtural Window?

Hi Karen,
Most virtual machines are able to access USB devices, but not the PCI bus. Would it be an option for you to try a USB based GPIB interface?
