I am trying to connect a new PST 3202 power supply to a GPIB USB-HS but when I open MAX and click "scan for instruments" it doesn't find anything. NI VISA driver is listed under software so I do have that installed. The supply is also turned on when I try. I searched the internet for a solution but the only thing that came up was trying to use interactive control to manually set it up. Since it doesn't see the device I do not have a primary address that the supply would be at making this option useless to me. Is there anything else I can try so that the "scan for instruments" will actually find the device? Maybe there is something on the power supply I need to change?

Nevermind, I realized it was never set to GPIB from RS 232, stupid mistake.
