GPIB not detected

Interface-PCI GPIB
PC OS-Windows XP
Driver version-2.1.0.3500

The GPIB (PCI-GPIB) interface on the PC side is not working. The problem is as follows:
In the PC's device manager, I see that the PCI-GPIB is "working properly". The driver version is 2.1.0.3500 and the National Instruments site reports that the driver version is correct.
In the "Explore GPIB" application (opened from Programs menu--->"National Instruments"---->NI-488.2), i opened the Configuration---->My Systems---->Devices and Interfaces. The PCI-GPIB is not listed here.
I ran the NI trouble shooter but of no help.
Does anyone has any idea about this problem?

Hi Vinoth,

There are two things you can try, one is to refresh MAX by pressing F5 and see if that helps and the other option is to reinstall MAX which you can do by reinstalling the 488.2 driver. Check the following link that explains this kind of problems.
