I looked through the
HP53132A manuals, to check if the commands sent by the instrument driver are incorrect. I couldn't find anything wrong. The specifications for the device does mention that the maximum gate to is 1000seconds.
I don't have the instrument, so I cannot test the driver, but here are some suggestions on how to troubleshoot the problem:
- Use
NI-Spy to capture the GPIB calls sent to the instruments. You can use the
examples in the programmer's manual as a reference.
- Can you set the gate time or perform the measurement using the 1000s value using the instrument's front panel (manually)?
