HOW to use simulated device to createPCI-8431 or COMports SERIAL simulating manner.

Virtual simulating port COM or cards for cards as NI PCI-8431, PCI-232,... (NI cards to use),  in softwares as MAX (Measurement automations ) or (Labwindows-CVI),

Object is only simulating while there's no physical cards to install.

There is nothing built into MAX or VISA to simulate a com port but there are numerous products available that can d it. Try using google to search for 'virtual com port software'.

The problem with simulation is the expected reaction from the other side.

The best you can do is to write a vi that sends and recieves data and that also simulates if a comport of "none" is selected.
