Hislip service discovery from NI-MAX

NI-MAX is not auto-detecting the Hislip service i am running (Hislip is running along with LXI).

I have the NI-max 16.0 version. I am able to add the service manually and able to communicate without any issues. but only problem is with auto-detection.

I have verified the services being advertised using Wireshark and bonjour browser tools.

is there any other service i need to run or enable in my system for the NI-MAX to detect the Hislip?

Hi sagarg,

Could you confirm that the NI LXI Discovery Service is running? Also, could you confirm that the identification document for the instrument is available at the expected URL (as specified here)? If so, could you attach it here?

The discovery service is running. i am able to see the device getting discovered continuously on the LXI discovery tool.

I am able to browse the identification document. The document looks proper.
