How can I check up whether the NIDAQ is already installed or not from the windows registry?

If NI-DAQ is installed in your computer you will find in the registry the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\CurrentVersion.

According to SDK documentation about HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, "Registry entries subordinate to this key define the physical state of the computer, including data about the bus type, system memory, and installed hardware and software", so if some software is actually installed in the computer this is the key to look informations into, usually in the software\ subkey.

Hope this helps
Roberto
