Thanks Dennis Knutson .. but I want to make sure again, it there problem is caused by interface between a computer and spectrum analayzer or this problems is caused by this software has a expired period that has be set by the manufacture ..??

I don't know anything about the software from this company or what kind of license it has. All I can say is that the *IDN? query is not involved and that it appears the software is partially working since you get half way through a scan. That points (to me), that there is a problem with the code or instrument and not the GPIB board.

As I said, check with the vendor. Of course, your other option is to write your own code.
