How to get more info specific info on VIs

I am trying to get a collector supply vi and a step generator vi to work. I've got the gpib address right and all other setting setup but program doesn't send them to a Tektronix 371A over GPIB. The other VIs in the program operate as expected.

Hello-

Does NI-Spy show that data is sent to the instrument? It may be a problem somewhere with the driver. It is possible to use VISA reads/writes to send the data necessary to setup this instrument. Consult the manufacturer's manual for more details.
