How to get the complete buffer on the clipboard from NI spy

I have got about 5K of data on the recieve buffer and I want to copy this on the clipboard.
How do I do this?

I need to extract some info from the buffer, and writing a small program is the best way.
But I need to give it input, and the NI spy is not very kind when it comes to exporting information.

any suggestions?

btw, used the export or save as functionality but that just does not do it for me.

I would suggest including the I/O part in your application so you can directly get the buffer into you application?

did you ever find a solution for this? I am also in need of extracting the buffer contents from a spy/trace file. In my case there is only brief buffer data (64 bytes per ibread), but there are a lot of ibreads...
