I am looking for LabVIEW instrument drivers for Audioprecision test equipment. It looks like you do not support any Audioprecision intruments?

I also do not see any support for Keithley 2420 Sourcemeters.

The Audio Precision Drivers are Available on AudioPrecison Website. These are GPIB Drivers. You will need a Gpib Interface with your Instrument. These drivers work with LabView.

If you are Using their Native APIB Bus, then you have to Use their "APIB Interface Card" And their Software in your PC.

Best bet is to Have your Unit Outfitted with GPIB. Use their Drivers. This way you can Customize and also Interface to other Instruments.

Hi Kristen,

If you search www.Keithley.com you will find an instrument driver for the 2420 device. Go to the "downloads" section and search for 2400.

I am not sure what you mean by Audioprecision instruments. If you had a specific driver in mind, I would check with the instrument manufacturer. Often times they develop and support the drivers since they know the instruments far better.

If you do not see the driver on their website, please submit a request at http://zone.ni.com/idnet97.nsf/instrumentdriverrequest/ and with the instrument manufacturer.

We develop drivers based on demand and popularity so the more requests we have for it, the greater the possibility that we will develop one.

Thanks, yes that does help. Unfortunately Audio Precision has not yet made a driver for their System Two Cascade Plus box that I am looking at. I will speak with them about it, hopefully they are working on a driver.
I am using GPIB and I found the Keithley drivers on their website. Thanks for the help.

The System Two GPIB IVI driver is not compatible with the System Two Cascade Plus because the System Two Cascade Plus hardware has different sample rates, new Analog Generator D/A waveforms and sample rate controls, additional Digital I/O functions, and new analog analyzer AES-17 filter options that are not supported by the System Two instrument. Many of the GPIB commands are similar however.

Best Bet is to Contact AP. I am Sure they have something in works.

I just talked to AP and they said that a driver was available. They are checking to see why it is not on the website, so hopefully it will be there soon.
