Implementing ModBus to control Watlow Series 96 Temperature Controller

I am running LabView 7.0 and need to implement the ModBus RTU protocol in order to control 4 Watlow Series 96 temperature controllers. The VI libraries available for download (http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/niepd_web_display .display_epd4) are for 7.1 and 8.2 only; any assistance I can get to implement this protocol would be most welcome.

Looks like a ni modbus library saved as version 7.0

This forum looks to have the modbus library saved as LabVIEW 7.0 version.
