First of all start a new thread. Your question has nothing to do with this thread.

It will also be helpful if you add more information in (the new) thread. Like scope brand and type. Software that you use beside MAX etc.

Yes, it's usually a good idea to create a new thread with a new question, just to make sure everyone can see the new question and answer it if it's something they're familiar with.

As Kees said, could we get a bit more information on the hardware you're using, and could you also let us know what version of the NI 488.2 (GPIB) drivers you're using, as well as the VISA driver version? That would help us figure out why you might not be seeing the scope.
