Is it possible to use vbscript to access NI_VISA and talk to GPIB instruments?

I am using National Instruments usb-GPIB interface..

any help would be appreiated..

As far as I can tell, it doesn't look like VISA supports VBScript. Below is a link to the NI-VISA user's manual. Please refer to table 1-1 for supported programming languages.
