I have had a time trying to set up the control for an Agilent 33120A connect via TCPIP on a GPIB E5810A. I am new to LabView still, so I was doing this as part of the core 1 module 30 training but will need it when testing software developed with LabView 2012.
I have the following error screen (ErrorWInstrumentDriverFinderVI… attached).
I also stepped through the VI I found in the Instrument IO explorer called hp33120a Example – Generate Std Wfm.vi and see that the error begins in the hp33120a Initialize.vi subVI. (ErrorInInitialize.jpg and Error_probeview.jpg).
I have no clue where to go from here. I had no trouble connecting to another Waveform Generator 33220A via USB. But I borrowed that device and the above (old one without USB) is what I am stuck with using… L
Please give me some idea what could be wrong or where to look to give you more information to help me.
