Keithley 2000 Read Single.vi

anyone know where I can find this .vi sample? I just purchased a refurbished 2000 unit. Thanks in advance.

First you would need to install the LabVIEW driver from http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=248

Once you installed it, you will be able to find that VI from the Functions Palette >> Instrument I/O >> Instr Drivers >> Keithley 2000 >> somewhere in one of the palette

PS: I assume that those VI is part of the driver, if not, then you've to reach out to the person whoever created it.

That vi is indeed part of the driver and shown in the examples.

It is a simple measurement and should work if you connected the keithley correctly.

I suppose you are gonna use a serial cable and you have to make sure it is has the receive and send pins (2 and 3) correctly.

If you don't get a response from the Keithley try switching pin 2 and 3. I always forget which one is receive and which is transmit.

Only pin 1, 2 and 3 are needed.
