Hey dude. I am wondering how you put the driver into the " Instr " folder? I download the Keithley 2602 driver file from Keithley and there are 3 folders including "examples,private,public" and other files. Did you toss them there? And How to acually check I can communicate with the source meter? Thank you

Hello, I think I am having the same issue like you did. Could you tell me where to get the new examples and how to change the settings in my labview for consistent 7or8 bits? Do I need to upgrade my firmware ?

OK, I checked all the settings from front panel, to the equipment and NI M. ( Please the attached pic for details)
I still get error code -1073807339 all the time , says " VISA open in keithley 2600 series,lvlib: Initalize.vi---> KE26xx config source&measure vi. "
for some reason, ever time I try to run the program, the bitw will set back to 7. ( thats why I set 7)
Please give some advices , thanks a lot.
Daniel.

Yes, the VI will reset to 7 if you call it from the top level example.
Try switching cable types. If you ae using a null modem, try a straight through. If using a straight through, try a null modem.
